✦ LUNA — A VEDIC CHART TOOL
Not software.
An instrument.
You wanted to look. Let Luna help you see.
Luna runs entirely in your browser. Nothing to install, nothing to update — Mac, Windows, or Linux, it just opens.
HOVER. RESPOND.
Get accurate.
Hover any planet or sign and the chart responds — its sign lights up, and so do the houses its lord rules. Shown in both South and North Indian formats.
What Makes Luna Different
Four ways an instrument earns the name.
The Rail Engine
The Rail Engine places every planet at its exact orbital degree on a parametric curve — fitted to the traditional grid, sampled fine enough that 7°30′ Aries lands where 7°30′ Aries should land, not in a generic "Aries box."
The chart stops being a diagram and becomes a map of where things actually are. South Indian and North Indian formats both — both degree-accurate, both rendered the same way underneath.
- Planets at true degrees, not in fixed cells
- Seam-safe arithmetic at sign boundaries
- A kind of chart that feels alive
Interactive Highlighting
Hover any planet and the chart responds.
Its sign lights up. The houses its lord rules light up. Conjunctions, aspects, and rulerships become legible as gestures — the geometry teaches itself while you watch. Even a curious newcomer can read this chart by following what glows.
- Hover-driven sign and rulership reveal
- The chart teaches its geometry through its response
- Dual mode — South and North, same-glyph glow
- Teach mode — draw, highlight, and color right on the chart
The Workspace
Most chart software locks you into one fixed screen. Luna hands you the whole workbench.
Drag panels, resize them, spawn divisional charts wherever you want them. Build the surface you analyze on — your chart in the center, your dashas to the right, your strength tables wherever they fit best. Save the arrangement; open Luna tomorrow and your workbench is exactly where you left it.
- Drag, resize, and spawn divisional panels at will
- Workbench arrangements persist across sessions
- Hide what you don't need, surface what you do
Custom Visuals
Every visual surface is yours.
Give every planet its own color — or start from a ready-made palette and adjust from there; signs, rails, and lines are yours to tint too. Choose how the planets are drawn — clean dots, glowing beads, polished marbles, each with optional glow or shadow. Then switch the whole instrument between visual themes and font sets until it reads the way you think. Save your look and your favorite layouts, and they’re there the next session.
- Recolor every planet — your own palette or a ready-made one
- Themes, fonts, and marker styles, tuned to how you read
- Save your look and layouts; they follow you across sessions
Every standard calculation a practitioner reaches for — divisionals, dashas, balas, ashtakavarga, yogas, panchanga — computed from real astronomy, validated for correctness. Standard depth is the floor, not the headline.
The Philosophy
Plate V
The freedom axis: the instrument bends to you, never the other way around. No dumb boxes. No useless graphs. No software deciding how you're allowed to look at the sky. The chart is the hero.
Luna is built for practitioners who want to see how a chart actually works: every planet positioned by real astronomy, every divisional cell derived from classical formulas you can verify. Nothing is decorative. Nothing is approximated. The interactions teach the geometry; the geometry teaches the chart. This is an instrument you tune and master. Not an app you open once and forget.
See it for yourself.
